§ 003 / Etymology
What 'KAI' Means
To be as vast as the sea — different waves, same ocean. Unique, yet connected.
海 — kai — the sea. In Japanese, one syllable that carries the whole ocean. Movement, depth, patience, the promise that every wave is different and yet part of the same tide.
We named the house KAI because that is how we think about the people who wear it. Distinct silhouettes. One current.
