KAI is not a label. It is a way of moving through the world — quiet, deliberate, unafraid.

We build in small batches out of Mumbai, drawing from Japanese minimalism and the raw pace of the city we call home. Every piece begins with a sketch and ends with a walk. If it doesn't earn the walk, it doesn't ship.

We work with makers we know by name, at a cadence that lets us obsess over the details the feed will never notice — the weight of a hem, the fall of a shoulder, the way an insole breaks in on the fifth kilometre.
